Mr Sanchos

In February 2023 we visited Cozumels Famous All-Inclusive, Mr. Sanchos. We had heard great things about this all-inclusive destination, and after several hours there we decided the reviews were correct – Mr Sanchos is GREAT!

Pros:

• All you can eat food
• Multiple buffets
• The food was adequate, not great, but not bad
• All you can drink alcoholic beverages
• Beautiful clean beaches!
• Personal server
• Your own tables close to the beach
• Shaded tables
• Tables available for large groups
• Multiple pools
• Souvenir shops
• Cheap massages, fish spa treatments, watersports
• Clean restrooms
• Felt safe, legit business, not too many hagglers

Cons:

• Rocky beach
• Beach can get crowded (get there early)
• The drinks were not strong (suggest ordering beer if you are trying to get toasty)
• Watersports and waterpark are not included

Below I will discuss some of the major pros and cons.

Food

Immediately after being sat down, we were given both a drink and food menu and asked what items we wanted to order. Our server, Jhonny, told us we can order as many items as we want each time he comes. Over the course of a few hours, we ordered many items, to include tacos (chicken and beef), coconut shrimp (HIGHLY recommend), and chips and salsa.

We also ventured over to the many buffets and scooped up some nachos and hot cheese (have both spicey and regular), rice, fruits, etc. There was plenty of food options to choose from!

Drinks

While my group did not think the mixed drinks were really strong, I have heard that the strength of the drinks all depends on your server and how they are making drinks that particular day. If you are wanting to get a little tipsy during your visit to Mr Sanchos, I would recommend the following (some ideas came from other travelers, THANK YOU!):

• Order beer and beverages in cans (then you know how much alcohol you are consuming)
• Order shots of liquor
• Tip your bartender at the beginning of the day and ask him/her to bring you strong drinks throughout the day
• Treat your server with respect, always!
