You’ve booked your flight, started researching what you are going to do, started packing – your done right? Nope, you need to get yourself Purdy (pretty). *Yep, that will never get old!* Below are some things to assist you in getting even more Purdy!

  1. GET YOUR HAIRCUT

Every great trip needs a fresh haircut!

2. GET NAILS DONE

Nails are such an unique reflection of yourself. Cut your nails and apply some fresh polish! My favorite nail colors are:

3. HAIR REMOVAL

  • Shave legs
  • Pluck eyebrows

Below are my must haves:

4. SPRAY TAN

If possible and if needed, go to the local tanning salon and get a spray tan. This will make it so you start with a tan so you (hopefully) will not get burnt on vacation!

5. WORKOUT

Vacations are fun, but can also be a lot of exercise. If you are not used to moving around a lot, you should start becoming more physically active prior to your trip so that you won’t be as exhausted during your trip.

6. CLEAR SKIN

Make sure prior to your trip you drink plenty of water, wash your face and use SPF sunscreen. Washing your face, drinking plenty of water, and using sunscreen helps your skin look and feel better. I always use the following sunscreen:

7. CHECK SUPPLY OF BEAUTY ITEMS

Prior to your trip, make sure you have enough beauty items!

Not Beauty Related But Still Important:

8. CLEAN YOUR HOUSE

I ALWAYS have to clean my house prior to going on a vacation! I LOVE the feeling of walking into my house after vacation and it being clean! I would hate to walk in my house and it be dirty. Just my thing, doesn’t have to be yours.

9. DO LAUNDRY

I always also like to do my laundry before a trip. The week of the trip, I try to only wear clothes that I am not packing. If I only wear clothes that I am not planning to pack then all of my clothes I do want to pack will be washed and dry so I can pack them 🙂

10. TRY TO STAY SOCIALLY DISTANT

The week of my trip, I always (if possible) try to stay socially distant from others. I do not want to get sick prior to my vacation or even during my vacation. In regards to this, I also like to wear masks on the plane (again, just my preference).

11. MAKE LIST OF WHAT YOU NEED WHEN ARRIVE IN DESTINATION

If flying to your destination, you may not be able to travel with large items. Make sure you have a list ready so that you can go to a store when you get to your destination.

There are a thousand pieces of advice I could give you, but above is just a start 🙂 Feel free to add to the list as you prepare for your travel!
