1. FLAMINGOS

There are native flamingos in Aruba! If this doesn’t make you instantly want to come explore this island, then I don’t know what will!!

2. TROPICAL TEMPERATURES

Need I say more? Aruba has wonderful weather! Warm, but not too hot because there is a constant natural breeze! Wouldn’t you rather be on a tropical island when its snowing at home? I know I would!

3. FOOD

The food in Aruba is AH-MAZING! Dutch pancakes, cheap tacos and margaritas, and authentic HOMEMADE pasta! Wow, just YUM!

4. GREAT RESORTS

Aruba has AMAZING resorts! Once you get to the airport, catch a cab and (if you want) you won’t ever have to leave your resort again! The resorts are top notch, beautiful, and have all of the amenities!

5. NON-STOP FLIGHTS

Aruba is an island that offers many non-stop flights from top U.S. cities! This is a huge perk to picking an island! The faster you get there, the sooner your fun starts!

6. REALITIVLY SMALL ISLAND

Aruba is not a huge island so if you are staying for a week, you should have enough time to see the must-see attractions!

7. SAFE

Although Aruba was in the news years ago for its safety – we felt that Aruba was a very safe island! Obviously keep valuables and jewelry out of sight and you shouldn’t have any problems!

8. NO HAGGLING / SELLING

Unlike some of the other islands where you are constantly harassed to buy this or that, we felt that Aruba had the opposite effect. All the native Arubans seemed laidback 🙂

9. HAPPY ISLANDERS

Aruba is known as a happy island. Arubas saying is “Dushi” meaning a pleathera of happy words including: “enjoyable, pleasing, sweet, delicious, tasty, affection or love”. As tourism is the top industry – Arubans have all been super nice and helpful!

10. VOW RENEWAL

As I mentioned in my opening paragraph, Aruba is known for its annual vow renewal ceremony every August! This is such a cool experience that we hope to experience in 2023! You should too!!
